i had a lot of issues with this print. i'm still not completely satisfied, and i may tweak it more in the darkroom tomorrow. this is probably the 5000th version.


little kids catching frogs are pretty cool.



double exposure. canon ae-1. arista II 400 film. arista edu photopaper. lots of swearing.

i only made three prints-- the contact sheets are absolute shit because i underdeveloped my negatives like an idiot(apparently i think 12 and 14 minutes are equivalent). HOWEVER when i get a chance i'll scan them in and tweak the contrast.

it's too bad the handprint on his back didn't show up too well. :( i do like it though. the background and foreground were completely random? or did you have creative control?

i had creative control in the sense that i remembered that the last two frames of the first shots were the boys catching frogs. otherwise, no, totally by chance that it worked out compositionally. there were a lot of sucky pictures on those rolls XD

I got some from the VeeCeeBee. Walmart also has 'em, but they're more expensive, if I recall correctly. [/comment not related to picture]
